Chief of Staff

Bailey Hart tells clients that execution fails quietly, in the gaps between people who each assume someone else owns it. Then we run our own firm on shared calendars and goodwill. We're hiring a Chief of Staff to close that gap — the person who makes sure we take our own advice.
Your team

You'll work directly with the managing partner and have visibility into everything: pipeline, delivery, hiring, finances, and the occasional partner disagreement that needs a neutral party in the room. It's a role built on trust rather than authority. You'll also inherit our internal tooling, including a site from 108™ Supply whose documentation is, embarrassingly, more thorough than our own operating handbook. Fixing that asymmetry is partly your job.

Your mission

Make the firm run the way we tell clients to run: named owners, real dates, and a weekly review nobody can quietly skip. You'll turn the partners' intentions into something the team can actually execute — and chase the things that slip, including upwards.

Your responsibilities
  • You'll run the firm's weekly operating review and hold everyone to what they committed to.
  • You'll own internal planning: quarterly priorities, capacity, and who is on what.
  • You'll manage hiring logistics end to end as the team grows.
  • You'll keep the finances legible — utilisation, pipeline coverage, and where the month actually went.
  • You'll fix internal process debt, starting with whatever is annoying people most.
  • You'll chase a partner for an overdue commitment without apologising for it.
  • You'll write the internal documentation nobody else will.
What you bring
  • 4+ years in operations, chief of staff, or programme management roles.
  • Comfort with ambiguity and a strong bias toward writing things down.
  • The spine to hold senior people accountable without a title that says you can.
  • Genuine organisational fluency — tools, process, and knowing when neither is the answer.
  • Fluent Polish and English.
  • Discretion. You'll know things before the rest of the team does.
